The aim of this study was to compare family pathology in the process and content model in families with high and low resilience. The method of the present study is descriptive survey type and the statistical population of the present study includes; 6000 thousand parents of middle school students living in Shiraz in 2020. The sample size was 361 people who were selected by available methods. The instruments of the present study were the process and content scales of Samani family (2008) and resilience of Sikbi family (2005). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and Chi-square and SPSS 23 software. Findings showed that there is a significant difference between the two groups of families with high and low resilience in the subscales of job and education, time to be together, financial resources, physical appearance and social status and physical and mental health. Finally, coping skills, cohesion and mutual respect and religious beliefs in the family with high resilience are higher than the family with low resilience, but the mean scores of decision-making and problem-solving subscales and communication skills in the family with low resilience are higher than those with High resilience.
