The purpose of the present article was to check the psychometric properties of the Self-Worth scale. The sample consisted of 200 college students in Esfahan University. Contingencies of Self-Worth Scale and Collective Self-Esteem Scale were used in this research. Alpha coefficient showed a acceptable reliability for the Self-Worth Scale. Also the result of the study revealed a significant relationship between the Contingencies Self-Worth and the Collective Self-Esteem. The results also showed that all seven subscales have a significant relationship with Self-Worth score. Factor analysis indicated that seven sub-scales of instrument can be reduced into two factors which reflect Construct Validity (these two named Internal and External Self-Worth). In sum the results showed an acceptable reliability and validity for self-worth scale.
