The effectiveness of parental skills training on preschool’s children behavior problems fro 4 -6 yers old

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate The effectiveness of parental skills training on preschool’s children behavior problems from 4-6 yers in Isfahan. The statistical population of the study was all parents who registered in Isfahan preschools in 2010 out of which 60 individuals were selected using multilevel cluster sampling and put 30 individuals in the experimental and control groups each. The experimental group undertook6 sessions of 90 minute parental skills’ training and rutter behavioral for children questionnaires were given to both groups at the end for the second time. Co-variance analysis was applied for data analysis. The results of the study indicated that parental skills’ training significantly reduced children behavioral problems (P<05/0). The mean of experimented group after training, parenting practices than the control group showed a decrease. Thus the findings can be said that the parent’s information and eduction of how to correct dealing with child and obtain in formation of effectine parenting method (sovereign style)and correct dealing with had not only can reduce behavior problem of child also the effects of their mental relation will be available for then better opportunity for growth and learning.
