This research was design to study the efficacy of group logotherapy on increasing hope in patients suffering from esophagus & stomach cancer. Randomize subject pre-post- test with control group design was used in this study. Participants were 30 patients who were assigned randomly in to experimental (n=15) and control (n=15) groups. The experimental group received group logotherapy for 10 sessions (two sessions pre-week). All participants filled out ADSHS two times (pre-test and post-test). The results of ANVOVA test showed that group logotherapy increases hope (social, educational, love, familial, job and pastime). Generally this study showed that group logotherapy is an effective treatment to improve hope in esophagus and stomach cancer patients
