Psychometric Properties of the Emotional Security Questionnaire

Abstract

Aim: The purpose of this research was to check the psychometrics properties of Emotional Security Questionnaire in Shiraz high school students. Method:, the sample consist of 765 high school students (first grade to Pre-university) consisting of 405 girls and 360 boys The sampling method was cluster sampling. In this research the data were gathered by Belonging and Emotional Security questionnaires. The results evaluated on the basis of approval factor analysis by LISREL-8.5 and alpha coefficients by SPSS-21. Results: The result revealed that the amounts of science for all emotional security questions (one or more children) had acceptable reliability and validity (Except question number 9).Conclusion: In sum by eliminating the question No.9, the result showed the psychometric properties of the emotional security questionnaire for the high school students and their parents.
