The Effectiveness of training based on diagnosis and reduce of reading disorder in students on burnout of teachers

Abstract

The principle goal of this research is understanding the influence of teaching based on diagnosis and treatment of students’ reading disorder on burnout of teachers. The study has been done on all the teachers of the state elementary schools in district 4 of Shiraz city in Academic Year 2015-2016. Cluster sampling is used as the sampling method. At first teachers of 7 schools, chosen randomly, were asked to fill out a questionnaire about burnout. Out of the people who received above average grades in the burnout questionnaire, 40 were chosen at random and divided in two groups of twenty. These two groups are known as the control and experimental groups. The experimental group were trained for ten sessions of an hour and half for diagnosis and treatment of reading disorders. The control group was left inact. Post-test was done and a month after that analysis of variance and covariance. Results revealed remarkable influence of teaching based on diagnosis and treatment of students’ reading disorders on burnout of teachers.
