The aim of this research was investigate the effectiveness of group counseling emphasizing the effect of solution- focused therapy on subscales general health recovery in high school single parent male high school students in Torbat H. city. The study population included students enrolled in high schools and one parent of normal schools in the city Torbat the 91-92 school years. Firstly, 2 high schools selected cluster sampling and 30 single parent maleparticipants were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups (each group comprising 15 students).The participants in the experimental group received Method of solution-focused group counseling 7 sessions. Data in this research has been Article 28 of the General Health Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using independent T. and Manova. The results showed that group counseling is to increase general health and general health factors (depression, anxiety) have had a significant impact and on (social withdrawal, somatic symptoms) is not significant.
