Abstract

The purpose of this article is to investigate the role of life-work balance and job stress in the quality of marital life among paramedics who are usually unable to cover their duties in the workplace due to family problems. These stressful conditions were effective in the quality of marital life and work-life balance. Perry Marital Quality (2004), Fisher's Life and Work Balance Scale (2003) and HSE Job Stress Questionnaire (2009) were used to collect data. The results of estimating the model using SPSS software version 23 showed that job stress and work-life imbalance reduce the quality of marriage and each unit of job stress and work-family interaction, the amount of marital quality, respectively. 22 /. Also, among the predictors of research and its components, job stress and life-work interaction are the best predictors of marital quality and explain 14% of marital quality changes in paramedics. Therefore, it can be said that job stress and work-family interaction affect the marital quality of paramedics; Therefore, hospital managers and family therapists should pay attention to the role of job stress and life-work interaction in planning and treatment.
