Abstract

Loveisone of theimportantissuesthat in several ofthe past decadesin social psychology been raisedand a processthrough which people canbea­ttracted toeach other.This studycomparesLove Attitudes betweenmale and female students.280students among all faculties of Shahid Chamran University by multistage random sampling were selected, according to Krejcie and Morgan table and theLove Attitudes Scale Short Form Hendrickand colleague completed. Cronbach alpha coefficients were for the six of style 0.15 to 0.80, and Concurrent validity coefficients of Love-Making Styles with Passionate Love Scale 0.10 to 0.42. Independent group’st-test analysis’sshowed that there are significantdifferencesbetween male and female students in love styles of Pragma and agape.(Girl’s in Pragma lovestyle and boysin the Agapelovestyle),But there are no differencebetween the male and female studentsin the love stylesof Ludus, Eros, Storge, and Mania.
