The Effectiveness of Acceptance/ Commitment Training on Positive and Negative Emotions, Self-Distinctiveness and Social Health in Women Breadwinners

Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to study the effectiveness of approach based on acceptance and commitment training (ACT) on self-differentiation, and social health of householder women in Shiraz city. Method of study was experimental with pre-test and post- test .The sample of research were householder women of welfare and Imam Khomeini relief committee in Shiraz city, that 30 women selected through random sampling which divided in two groups of experimental and control groups. The tools used for collecting data were Self-differentiation questionnaire of Scorn and Andy and social health questionnaire of Keez. For analyzing data multi covariance analyses used. The results showed that approach based on acceptance and commitment training (ACT)had effect on social health. Acceptance and commitment training (ACT) could significantly increase emotional reaction, seperation and mixture with others in self-differentiation of householder women.
