A Structural Model to Predict Job Burnout Based on Quality of Work Life, Organizational Commitment and Knowledge Management

Abstract

The purpose of this survey was to exam a structural model for predicting Job burnout in higher education managers based on quality of work life, organizational commitment and knowledge management. The participants were 660 managers at Islamic Azad University, District One with cluster sampling using Morgan Table 250 participants were chosen as the sample. Four questionnaires were used: job burnout , the quality of work life, organizational commitment and the knowledge management. The reliability of all the four questionnaires were calculated. The findings revealed that:  the quality of work life and two job burnout dimensions (emotional burnout and personal accomplishment) has negative significant relationship, organizational commitment predicts performance of individual managers job burnout significantly.
