Psychometric Properties of the Organizational Intelligence Scale

Abstract

Aim: The purpose of the study was to check the psychometric properties of the organizational intelligence scale (OIS). Method: The sample consisted of 335 personnel of the Tele communications Company of Shiraz. Results: Principle component factor analysis was run to clarify the construct of the OIS. The results of factor analysis revealed that there is a seventh factor structure for OIS. Alpha coefficients reliability showed a good internal consistency and reliability for subscales of the OIS. Also the correlation coefficient between total score and the subscales of the OIS present an acceptable convergent validity for the subscales of the OIS. Conclusion: In sum, the results of this study showed good psychometric properties for the Persian version of the OIS.
